About Rocket Fortress
Rocket Fortress is an addictive clicker RPG where you command a holy weapons battery against an endless demonic invasion. Demons, portals, and increasingly powerful bosses pour toward your fortress walls, and it is your trigger finger — clicking or pressing Space to fire salvos of missiles, rockets, and divine artillery — that stands between salvation and annihilation. The core loop is satisfying and escalating: fire missiles to destroy demons, collect the souls and gold they drop, and spend those resources in the upgrade panel to increase your damage output, unlock new weapon types, and recruit Marines who fire automatically even when you are not clicking. As your arsenal grows, you shift from frantic clicking to strategic resource management — deciding whether to invest in raw firepower, passive income from Marines, or boss-killing special weapons that charge over time. Each stage introduces new enemy archetypes that test different aspects of your defenses. Standard demons require sustained damage, flying variants must be tracked across the screen, armored bosses have enormous HP pools that demand special weapons to burn through, and portal summoners continuously spawn reinforcements until the portal itself is destroyed. Stage bosses drop major loot caches that fund significant upgrade jumps, making boss kills the key progression events. The "holy" aesthetic — angelic missiles, divine lightning, sacred seals — creates a satisfying visual spectacle as your upgraded arsenal produces increasingly spectacular explosions. Marine units have their own upgrade paths, evolving from riflemen to rocket troopers to angelic warriors with area-effect attacks. Prestige mechanics allow you to reset progress for permanent multipliers, letting dedicated players build toward builds of exponentially increasing power. Rocket Fortress rewards both casual clicking sessions and deep optimization thinking for players who want to push stage progression to its limits.
How to Play Rocket Fortress
Click anywhere on screen or press Space to launch missiles at incoming demons. Aim for clusters of enemies to maximize splash damage. When demons die, collect dropped gold by clicking or walking your cursor over it (it auto-collects with upgrades). Open the upgrade panel to spend gold on missile damage, fire rate, special weapon charges, and Marine recruitment. Marines fire automatically — recruit them early to provide a baseline of damage even during pauses. Special weapons like Divine Strike charge over time and deal massive area damage; use them on boss enemies or portal clusters. Each stage has a wave counter; survive all waves to unlock the next stage and its loot cache.

Rocket Fortress Tips & Strategies
- 1Recruit Marines as early as possible — their passive fire rate provides consistent DPS even when you are managing upgrades between clicks.
- 2Prioritize destroying portals over individual demons; each portal continuously spawns reinforcements until eliminated.
- 3Save special weapon charges for boss enemies — regular demons die to normal missiles, but bosses have HP totals that require special weapon usage to kill efficiently.
- 4Aim for clustered demon groups rather than isolated targets; missile splash damage hitting 3+ enemies at once is far more effective than single-target shots.
- 5Prestige after reaching a soft wall in progression — the permanent multipliers make early stages trivial on the next run, accelerating your return to the current stage.
Rocket Fortress FAQ
Is Rocket Fortress free to play?
Yes, completely free in your browser with no download or account required.
What do Marines do?
Marines are support units that fire automatically and continuously, providing passive damage output without requiring clicking. They have their own upgrade paths that evolve them into more powerful unit types.
How many stages are there?
Rocket Fortress has multiple stages of escalating difficulty, with each stage introducing stronger demon types and culminating in a boss fight that drops major upgrade resources.
What is prestige?
Prestige resets your progress but grants permanent damage and income multipliers that make subsequent runs faster and more powerful — a standard idle RPG mechanic for long-term progression.
What are the most important upgrades?
Prioritize Marine recruitment early, then missile fire rate, then special weapon charge speed. Raw missile damage is less important than increasing the frequency of attacks.
