About Ragdoll Playground
Ragdoll Playground is an open-ended physics sandbox game with zero rules and unlimited creative potential. There are no objectives, no timers, and no way to lose — only a toolbox of ragdoll characters, weapons, vehicles, explosives, and environmental props that interact with each other through a realistic physics engine. The game offers 13 distinct maps ranging from open fields to complex arena-style environments, each providing a different backdrop for your experiments. You can spawn multiple ragdolls, arm them with various weapons, launch them from catapults, crush them with vehicles, set off chain-reaction explosions, or create elaborate domino-effect contraptions — the only limit is your imagination. Controls are fully keyboard-driven for precision: press E to spawn a ragdoll, Q to remove one, hold Left Mouse to grab and drag any object, press F to activate interactive elements (like vehicles or catapults), use A/D to rotate grabbed objects, and press Space to pause the entire scene — useful for setting up complex arrangements before triggering everything at once. Press R to reset the map and start a fresh experiment.
How to Play Ragdoll Playground
Open any map from the selection screen, then use the toolbar at the top to choose objects — ragdolls, weapons, vehicles, explosives, or environmental items. Drag objects onto the map with Left Mouse. Press E to spawn a ragdoll at your cursor position, or Q to remove the last one spawned. Hold F to activate vehicles and catapults. Use A/D to rotate a grabbed object before placing it. When your scene is set up, press Space to pause/unpause and watch the physics unfold. Press R to reset the map back to its default state.

Ragdoll Playground Tips & Strategies
- 1Use Space to pause before placing all your objects — set up an elaborate scene first, then unpause to trigger everything simultaneously for the most satisfying chain reactions.
- 2Rotate objects with A/D before releasing them to control exactly which direction they fall, bounce, or explode into other objects.
- 3Try stacking multiple ragdolls on a catapult, then activate it with F — launching a pile of ragdolls in one shot creates far more interesting physics chaos than launching one at a time.
- 4Experiment across all 13 maps: each one has unique geometry that enables different kinds of setups. The arena maps are best for combat experiments; open fields work better for long-range projectile chains.
- 5Combine vehicles and explosives: place a vehicle near a cluster of objects, activate it with F, then detonate an explosive nearby — the results are almost always more chaotic and entertaining than either element alone.
Ragdoll Playground FAQ
Is Ragdoll Playground free to play?
Yes, completely free in your browser with no download required.
Is there a goal in Ragdoll Playground?
No — it is a pure sandbox game with no objectives, win conditions, or game-over states. The experience is entirely what you make of it. Experiment freely with the physics engine.
How many maps are there?
Ragdoll Playground includes 13 different maps, each offering a unique environment and geometry for setting up your physics experiments.
What objects can I use?
The game includes ragdoll characters, melee weapons, firearms, explosives, vehicles (cars, tanks), catapults, environmental structures, and various interactive props. The full list is accessible from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
Can I play on mobile?
