You wake up trapped inside Granny's house — a decrepit, dimly lit home filled with locked doors, hidden traps, and a deeply unsettling atmosphere. Your goal is to find the items needed to unlock the front door and escape before five in-game days expire. The horror comes not from jump scares alone but from Granny herself: an old woman with abnormally sensitive hearing who will sprint to investigate any sound she hears. Drop a vase, fire a weapon, or run on a creaky floor and she will find you within seconds. You have five days to escape — each time Granny catches you, you lose a day and wake up in the bedroom with some items potentially moved. The house has three floors, a basement, and a garage, each hiding pieces of the escape puzzle. You must find and combine items like a padlock key, a master key, a car key, a screwdriver, and more. There are two primary escape routes: through the front door after solving the full lock sequence, or through the garage by repairing and starting the car. A secret third route exists through the well in the backyard for experienced players.

Move with WASD and look around with the mouse. Press C to crouch — crouching significantly reduces the noise of your footsteps and is essential for moving near Granny. Press E to interact with objects, pick up items, and open hiding spots like wardrobes and under-bed spaces. Press R to use a held item or combine items. Avoid dropping anything on the floor if Granny is nearby. Search every drawer, shelf, and cabinet in each room for key items. The bear trap in the hallway is a useful tool — place it in Granny's patrol path using E to slow her down. The shotgun, if found and loaded, stuns Granny temporarily when shot. She recovers after about 30 seconds. Your primary goal is assembling all the items needed to unlock the front door: the main lock, the padlock, the top lock, and the wooden plank must all be cleared.

• 1Always crouch when moving through the house — walking upright on certain floor types generates enough noise to alert Granny from two rooms away.
